Winning with Writing is a curriculum designed for grades 1-8. Lessons are run 5 days a week and space is provided right in the workbook for the student to write in. Levels 1 and 2 have the full 36 weeks in one notebook. Levels 3 - 8 are split into first semester and second semester workbooks. Lessons do tend to repeat between some levels but different examples and questions are used making the material fresh each time. All levels come with an answer key.
This program was created by JacKris Publishing, who also offer pther language arts curriculum , especially grammar and spelling.

Helped build confidence
I bought this unit and the others to make a curriculum. I bought the grade 7 level and it was a great buy!
My son was behind in reading and comprehension. He had lacked motivation and confidence while in the public schools.
This curriculum he looks forward to completing ! We really enjoy the daily tasks. It helps him with keeping himself accountable and offers the visual of completed tasks.
I thought it was a little advanced at first but he was able to adjust into it and has done very very well. It also has limited adult instruction as the instructions are every clear and broken down in steps for the week. I highly recommend this curriculum.
