Soaring with Spelling and Vocabulary is a curriculum designed for grades 1-8. This curriculum was designed with the spiral binding at the top to accommodate both left and right handed learners. Lessons are done five days a week but parents can adjust as needed. Each level comes with an answer key, which also includes some instruction in it. Each week’s spelling words are presented in a list format with definitions. Students start the week with a pretest which allows them to see what they can already spell. The week’s lessons consist of activities that help solidify how to spell those particular words. Level 1 starts with 6 words per week and increases every level with Level 8 having 20.

Build confidence around test taking
Bought this curriculum in grade 7 to be as a unit, as we bought the bundle package. It’s great !
If your child gets anxious with test taking the pre and after test helps them build the confidence to succeed. The activities are fun and engaging. They get the opportunity to see the spelling words multiple times throughout the week but Without being overwhelming with information.
